When I walked out of prison after 20 years, I was hit with a wave of anxiety. I didn’t know where to start; where to get food, how to get a driver’s license, or even how to navigate this new world. I felt completely lost.
That feeling stuck with me, and I promised myself that no one else coming home should have to go through that. For the past five years, I’ve been working hard to make sure others don’t feel that same confusion and hopelessness. Whether it’s helping with resources, guidance, or just showing up, I’m committed to making the reentry process smoother for those finding their way back.
Write a Letter
Legislators need to hear from you - the people who care about human rights and the future of our communities. We urge you to contact your Nevada state law makers to emphasize the importance of prison reform in the Silver State.
